A balanced and healthy diet, a caring approach by the Thai caregivers and active leisure activities ensure physical and mental balance and in most cases lead to a reduction or even complete elimination of medication.

The close proximity to the sea and the warm climate create ideal conditions for a relaxed retirement. Hans Hufschmid and his wife Umapron have created Prosana in one of the most beautiful spots in Thailand, Hua Hin. The guests are managed by Beat Kurmann from Switzerland.

All employees are still passionate about their daily care work, and the positive feedback speaks for itself. There is room for 12 guests at Prosana, and the management has deliberately decided against further expansion. The high standard and family character should be maintained at all costs.

We at Swiss Helping Point visited the facility in person, got to know many of the staff and gained a real impression beyond the brochures. We can highly recommend Prosana. All the guests are doing very well despite their age. Compared to the cost of living and the cost of medical care in Germany, life in Thailand is excellent. Prosana structures its services in interesting packages. The facility works together with the Be Well Medical Center. This is a locally based GP clinic.

In 2018, Prosana was the first company in Hua Hin to be officially recognized and licensed as a retirement home.
