Every year in November they also publish the helpful FARANG calendar. The days of the week are marked according to the Buddhist colors. (Monday=yellow, Tuesday=pink, Wednesday=green, Thursday=orange, Friday=blue, Saturday=purple, Sunday=red). This promotes interculturality in calendar form. Thailand has a few more holidays than we Europeans are used to. This is important for visits to authorities, so that you don’t stand in front of closed doors.

The German-language advertisements are also important. If you need help, be it from a dentist, lawyer, real estate agent or visa agent, you can communicate in your native language.
